Our Story
During 2022, life was becoming rather overwhelming, so naturally we decided to start a business! After experimenting with different ideas, we’ve settled on a berry farm and a blacksmith shop. We hope our efforts bring beauty and joy to your busy life!
Chelsey
Beginning in the 1st grade chelsey has devoted all her efforts to a career in medicine. On the way she grew a beautiful marriage and three children. She also loves being creative; playing her viola, decorating and remodeling their new-to-them home, and developing recipes for a whole-food lifestyle. She always had a back-up plan of becoming a florist or wedding dress designer if medicine didn't pan out. After spending 28 years focusing on one thing she thought it was time to branch out (pun intended). Vera Wang wasn't looking for a new hire, so she thought why not start digging in their backyard and make another dream come true.
Joseph
Joseph is a former collegiate hammer thrower who left his professional career in bioterrorism response behind to become a stay-at-home dad and homeschool teacher for the kids. When Joseph was 12 he saw his grandfather working as a blacksmith at a historical reenactment site. From that point onward he’s wanted to try blacksmithing. When he finally had the chance, he found that he thoroughly enjoyed it! Joseph recently completed the ABANA National Curriculum Level 1 certification, and is now considered an apprentice/beginner blacksmith. Joseph is also a huge nerd when it comes to Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere novels.
Lily
Lily loves to draw, paint, and color. She is actively involved in ballet, piano, and viola. She recently performed in a production of the Nutcracker. She is enamored with all things beautiful and special!
Asher
Asher is a heart hero. Before his fifth birthday, he had undergone 4 open heart surgeries to treat a congenital heart defect. He loves to play with legos, playdoh, and his cats. He wants to have a career using a tractor, so starting a farm is a dream come true for Asher.
Kai
Kai is a ball of energy! He loves to do whatever Lily and Asher are doing. He also enjoys helping Daddy in the kitchen to make meals and snacks. His favorite color is orange and can be particular about having the orange plate, bowl, and cup.
Mya
Our lovely fourth child joined the family in February of 2024. Her favorite activities include nursing, spitting up on daddy’s shirts, making dirty diapers, and naps!
